Kathy Kamei Designs began as my vision of handmade, uniquely fashionable jewelry that celebrates and encourages our individual passion and spirit.  I am continually overwhelmed with gratitude when I witness so many extraordinary women embracing the message of my jewelry.  What is most rewarding is to see amazing women from such different backgrounds wearing the jewelry as gentle reminders of what the piece means but most importantly what each piece means to them as individuals.

Kathy Kamei Designs is handcrafted by distinguished artisans in Bali and in Tuscany. Kathy Kamei is the sole designer of every piece and began her vision when she moved to Bali in 1993 from her native Canada with her two daughters Alexa, age six and Sydney, age three. It was there she found the magic all around her. The people, the land, and the traditions captured her soul and the heart of her and her daughters. Kathy was in awe of the Balinese design masters she met, which heightened her creativity. She immediately desired to share the beauty and spirit of this magical place through her designs.  Kathy's collection of jewelry continues to be inspired by her now three daughters, the amazing women who have graced her life and of course the women she has yet to meet.
